AGM Sept 2023
The 42nd AGM of the Marylebone Birdwatching Society was held on Friday 15th September via Zoom.

The current committee has been re-elected but we would welcome extras.
We are in particular looking for a new Treasurer for MBS. If you're interested, please do contact Judy or other committee members via birdsmbs@yahoo.com
Full induction/training will be given, and we plan to have the society's bank account online before the new treasurer starts.
To do the job, it would be an advantage to have some experience in Excel, so that you can analyse the income (we receive most of this via Paypal) and expenses from the available data.
The Treasurer
- Liaises with the coach company re pricing of planned outings.
- makes payments to suppliers (eg the coach company, insurers, website support) and to reimburse expenses (eg for speakers at our Zoom meetings)
- compiles simple accounts at the year end
- liaises with our independent examiner to have the accounts checked
- advises the Committee on MBS's financial position
